About Us

Harbour Friends Social Group members are a mix of singles, married people, couples and friends. Our members come from all walks of life to enjoy meeting and socialising with other like-minded people. The vast majority of our members are retired or near retirement.

Member Information

Harbour Friends members are able to meet and use the main bar every Wednesday evening between 7.30pm and 10.30pm at the Sovereign Harbour Yacht Club. Potential new members are welcome to attend on specific new member evenings to find out more about the group.

Social Events

We have an excellent group of volunteer committee members, who meet regularly to plan a diverse and fun range of special social events. Most special events are held in the top floor function suite of the yacht club, although we also organise lots of other special events around the town and further afield.
